Kalathil Lake Resort - Vaikom

Staying here was such a treat! The location was perfect, right by the lagoon and with fine views of the canal. I especially enjoyed watching the boats passing by while lying in the hammocks. The hotel facilities were great with a great pool to swim in and well-maintained gardens. the staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to accommodate my requests. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and varied, with something for everyone.

Nothing not to love! I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and can't think of any negatives.

Plenty of options for vacation and enjoyment. Our stay here was RELAXING, decent base for exploring Vaikom. WiFi worked pretty fast.

We had an amazing stay at this serene resort in the outskirts of Ernakulam. the peaceful ambiance around the artificial lagoon and the canal was refreshing. the cottages were spacious with attached balconies giving a good view of the area. the staff were courteous and helpful. the restaurant served tasty food and the facilities including complementary boat rides, cycling etc were top notch.

Mosquitoes and bugs were an issue during the evenings.

The hotel offered a stunning view of the area, as it was located on the waterfront. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with well-maintained furniture. there were many activities to choose from, making my Easter vacation an exciting and adventurous one.

The service provided by the staff was less than satisfactory. They seemed to have little patience for the guests, and at times, they were even rude.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The location of the hotel on the banks of the lake was simply breathtaking. I enjoyed watching the boats pass by while relaxing in the hammocks. The resort had a lovely garden and the facilities were well-maintained, including the swimming pool. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities like air conditioning and a cozy sitting area. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

Great spot to enjoy New Year with loved ones! Nice and clean rooms with a beautiful view of the lake. The property is situated away from the main road to offer privacy and tranquillity. The availability of pleasant activities like boating and cycling made the trip more enjoyable. The courteous staff and tasty food added to the experience.

There was a bit of a miscommunication with some of the service staff, causing some minor inconveniences. , the room doors had to be kept closed to avoid insects, which can be a bit off-putting for some guests.
